There is only one endgame when you confuse eating your seedcorn with a bountiful crop created by hard work, forgone consumption and sacrifice. Both major parties are more enamored with power than reality, and they haven’t a dime’s worth of understanding of the difference between seedcorn (a nation’s stored wealth) and a bountiful harvest (actual wealth creation.) Even their dimwitted GDP measurement merely calculates how fast one consumes; it is completely indifferent to whether the economy consumes seedcorn or if it’s consuming a fraction of what it creates vs. saves to create more wealth.

Stupidly, few in the world can tell the difference between money and wealth, and so their wealth is rapidly filched through the expansion of money.

Henry Ford is quoted as once saying, “If the American public truly understood the nature of their banking, there would be a revolution overnight.” Enter union / government controlled eduction systems in the United States to assure they remain in the dark, putting in charge of the education the largest parasites at the seedcorn trough.

It will not be pretty.

I’m no republican, nor am I a tea partier.  But I will say “stick it!” to the old GOP dipshits who sold this nation up the river right along with the DemocRats.

It should now be crystal clear to one and all that the shift in power enabled by the electorate was not an endorsement of lefty progressive authoritarians, but rather a referendum on republican stupidity.  Left with no other choice, the previously indifferent majority showed up and tilted the election to the Democrats.  This was nothing more than an “anything but the republicans” mandate, with many bluntly stating it was a vote for the lesser of two evils.

Which brings us to today’s results.  I’m a longtime abstainer of succumbing to R and D party elections.  Both have for too long been the opposite sides of the same political coin.  One, the party of warfare, the other the party of welfare, with both in love with the powerful central state and its inherent power to deliver authoritarian results.

Today I actually voted R in the local races that were close. I don’t care to endorse the Rs in any way, other than to give a big “fuck you” to the democrat governor and senate candidates, and implied in that — a major league F-YOU to all D’s for forcing that piece of shit healthcare program onto the American public.  I could only hold my nose barely enough to do this, largely because I, for the first time, watched elements of the multi-headed Tea Party actually run out of town the same old GOP types that have compromised this nation into fiscal insolvency.   To hell with the normal election expedience of compromise it all to win politics.  They were willing to scrap an election in Delaware by throwing out the establishment pro-authoritarian heir candidate by nominating a long-shot Christine O’Donnel, whose colorful background enabled the press to ignore her stance on many issues and focus on her, well, goofiness.  For the past two decades I tried to convince Republican and Democrat voters to bail from the party and vote their libertarian hearts, and they’d always say “i don’t want to waste my vote.”  This change took balls, and I voted R to reward a bucking of the age-odl bullshit of “get along n’ compromise politics” that has done nothing but dug the hole we’re sinking into deeper and deeper.

And now I wait and watch to see if the GOP pulls a ’94 by running scared from the Tea Party that restored them to power in order to worship the dimwitted middle while pushing to expand the police state, both of which I fully expect them to do.

As such, I expect the debate over “cutting government” to revolve around cutting the pace of growth vs. actually shrinking the bullshit.  And when it’s back to that baloney, I then hope there’s enough sanity lingering in this mild revolution taking place to hold the wasteful authoritarian Republican types equally accountable, and in a direction more towards freedom and the rights of individuals, vs.whipsawing back to the Dem’s.  Although, the way the system is rigged to protect the major two parties, we’ll likely see a restoration of progressive hokum in 2012.

Yes, that is my fear — that we shall ratchet back and forth between Rs and Ds, and at best, glacially move the spectrum slightly to freedom vs. the current embraced paradigm of democratically elected authoritarianism.

That said, we’ll run out of financial rope in this bankrupt nation long before liberty and freedom are again restored in this nation.   Which means, unfortunately, we risk dropping into the dark ages as the Empire of Fools Electing Bigger Fools collapses into itself like a burnt out star.

That’s never a bad thing, although I’m hardly confident that this is a signal of real improvement.    You see — We’re going to replace the guy whose been behind the wheel, bumping us around full-speed in a ditch on the side of the road because he’s blowing a 3.2 into the breathalyzer…   Yeah! And taking his place post Nov 2 is the other guy we put in the backseat of the car 2 years ago to pass-out in his vomit after blowing a 3.6 amid his own drunken orgy of power-riddled stupidity??  Excuse me for stating unequivocally, whoop-dee-big-fucking doo.

Where does one begin in critiquing the government before the reigns were handed over to the progressive redistributionistas?  Let’s see… there was:

• Destabilization of the Mid East to satisfy the Trotskyite right lunatics, a madmen ensemble of extra-radical pro-Israeli-right-wing -Zionistas who remain convinced to this day that it’s their job to remodel the Mid East as nonchalantly as one might rearrange the furniture in their living room.
• What of the related, massive and most certainly permanent (revolution pending) violations of privacy and freedom gladly acquiesced by the braying, flag-waving, patriot dimwits to big government?  (Well, we hate Big Gubbernet…. ‘cept the Big, Fat, freedom-grabbing one we’re a’charge of….)  War is Peace.  Freedom is slavery.  Ignorance is… well… – Ignorance!
• And, dear God, help those dispensationalist Left Behinder “Christians” whose nutty interpretation of the New Testament may as well have them wearing Nike Sneakers so they can be picked up by the Magen David Mother-Ship.  Someone told me the other day they represent 45% of all U.S. Christians?  Heaven help us all.
• etc.

Then there is also the blatant sucking from of the anus of political expediency by the establishment republicans.   Good lord, it’s an invariable parade of abdication after abdication of sanity and prudence:

• Constantly caving in to fiscal stupidity – allowing the progressive liberal element to redefine government cuts as reductions in the pace of government growth… while turning a blind eye to corporatism and Warfarism.
• Paving the way for Obama-care by championing the taxpayer paid prescription drug plan.
• Pandering to corporatism…
• Cowering away from the protectors of Freddie and Fannie back in 2004.  (Hell, you could watch the hearings on CSPAN where witness after witness basically pointed out that the GSEs were nothing but a crock of fraud and waste.  But God forbid you put the kybosh on fraud and waste for poor and minorities, or worse yet, poor minorities in the constituencies serviced by the socialista members of the black caucus.   Those pussy republicans knew damn well what was going down back then – it was clear as a bell in the report handed to them, and yet they acted as if that complete idiot Maxine Waters, or the infamously “pissed-off” Gregory Meeks (pissed off at the GAO for reporting on the fiasco), or Lacy “this is a lynching” Clay had their nuts in a vice.  So they went along with Barney Frank, et al, and swept it under the rug until it all blew sky high in 2007-8, sticking the taxpayers with fraud and waste.)

• Etc. etc. etc.

So am I excited about seeing the democrats fall hard, and Obama’s agenda losing any and all credibility at the ballot box? You betcha.  On the other hand, we’re still replacing Tweedle Dee with the old Tweedle Dum.

Yeah, I’ve heard it time and again – “this is a revolution, this is the Tea Party.”

Well, until I see an actual vote to the contrary, this is just the same lipstick on a pig I’ve seen from that party time and again.   I’ll not soon forget the republicans lead by Senator “I’m a vetrn” Viagra Dole, and how the establishment GOP was embarrassed by the liberty-based / fiscally conservative elements of the Gingrich ’94 revolution, and how they ran that Freshman class out of D.C. faster than you can say “graft.”

So, until there’s actually freedom-oriented action emanating from the new troop that’ll be elected tomorrow, the situation remains permanently f’d up and biz as usual.
